Hemorrhoid vs wart: A hemorrhoid is an outpouching of an anal vein, sort of a varicose vein, often caused by pressure such as straining due to constipation. Also common in women during pregnancy as baby puts pressure on the area and veins dilate. Infection with hpv causes the skin to grow and form a wart. It does not involve blood vessels.
