For a short time: If your periods are very irregular, going on birth control pills for a few months may increase the chance you may ovulate the first month or two after going off the pills. But there are better options to help you get pregnant: talk with your doctor about options such as metformin or clomid (clomiphene). And consider supplements such as pregnitude or chiral balance.
