Low chance: If a woman is taking birth control pills every day, same time each day the chance of her getting pregnant is low, about 1/100 per year. There are several situations that can cause the bcp to fail, such as taking antibiotics or some other medications. However the commonest reason women get pregnant on birth control pills is missing pills and not using a back up method.

Speak with your GYN: The first step is to speak with an ob/gyn. He/she will need to know what type of contraceptive you were using. I presume by your question you mean the "birth control pill." in general, women who conceive while on the birth control pill, do not suffer any adverse effects with their pregnancy and there is no conclusive evidence that the birth control pill will cause any birth defects.

Low possibility: Birth control when taken as prescribed with perfect compliance (ie- not missing any days) have 0.3% failure rate whereas in an general population there is a 9% failure rate (most likely due to non-compliance, missing pills etc). Pre-ejaculatory fluid can contain sperm and it may lead to pregnancy. However, if you are taking your pills as prescribed, you have a low risk of getting pregnant.
