Cervical mucus: In normal mucus, sperm can live for 24-48 hours. I'm not sure what you mean by 'infertile mucus'. If the cervical mucus is abnormal, sperm survival would be shorter. The best thing to do is to evaluate the mucus and, if it's abnormal, determine the cause and treatment.
