Following on my q; is it advisable to take acyclovir now if it's herpes otites? i had it for 3 weeks. my doc didn't think it would help the bells.

Bell's palsy: Antiviral meds like Acyclovir usually don't help bell's palsy by themselves, but are given in combination with an anti-inflammatory medication like prednisone. Many cases of bell's palsy resolve by themselves in 2-3 months.
