Is the contraceptive pill still effective if you are on kidney dialysis?

Birth control pills: Birth control pills are effective in preventing pregnancy in patients with end stage renal disease on dialysis (d). Most females of child bearing age on d are not all that fertile and may have trouble carrying a baby to term. If they do conceive, they may require daily dialysis until the baby delivers. Good luck.
