Can you tell me if a woman has sex during her period, why it is possible for her to get pregnant?

It isn't: Pregnancy during a menstrual cycle does not occur. What does happen though is women that have irregular periods, or have midcycle or ovulation bleeding may confuse that bleeding with menstrual bleeding.
