I have history of anal fissure. my doctor suggested me to take conservative treatment. i use cincochaine hcl cream and lidocaine. but today morning i had to strain a lot and now i am in great pain . what to do? i didn't have that much pain before?

Because of such severe discomfort possibilities, in addition to the fissure, are abscess or thrombosed hemorrhoid. I recommend being evaluated by a proctologist or colorectal surgeon for accurate diagnosis, appropriate treatment & best follow-up care. In the meantime, apply hot water ( not boiling) compresses for 15 minutes off&on until seen by the specialist.
