Any new or unexplained vaginal discharge should be professionally evaluated if it persists more than a few days. Women with BV are at increased risk for STIs like gonorrhea and chlamydya: were you tested when BV was diagnosed? New partner or other STI risk since then? If the discharge definitely is abnormal for you and it continues a while, see your doctor for further evaluation.
