: Where is the fissure? Anal? Genital? Elsewhere? There are many more likely causes of genital or anal fissures or ulcers than Crohn's disease. If you're at risk for STI (like a new or non-monogamous partner), get checked soon. Herpes and syphilis are the main STI causes of such lesions. Good luck.

Where is the fissure? Anal? Genital? Elsewhere? There are many more likely causes of genital or anal fissures or ulcers than Crohn's disease. If you're at risk for STI (like a new or non-monogamous partner), get checked soon. Herpes and syphilis are the main STI causes of such lesions. Good luck.
