Spotting and having cramps the day after intercourse is not a sign of pregnancy. However, it could just be a sign that your girfriend's period is beginning to start. If you are still concerned start taking pregnancy tests 10 days after the intercourse. You are 19 and it would be much better to be responsible and use regular birth control if you are interacting intimately with your girfriend.

If you had unprotected intercourse, then there is always a chance of pregnancy. The only way to know for sure is for your girlfriend to take a pregnancy test. If there is any doubt after taking a home pregnancy test, your girlfriend should see her doctor. Good luck to you!
