Is it safe to use tretinoin 0.1% topical cream whilst on combined contraceptive pill (yasmin/detrine)? this pill has estrogen?

A general rule you can go by is topical creams and ointments do not penetrate the skin deep enough to enter the blood. Since they don't, they won't interfere with oral or injected meds you are prescribed.
