I work with mental health kids is it possible to catch herpes or anything from them spitting on me and it possibly getting on my face ?

You can catch various illnesses from droplets. This is putting you at risk. Herpes is supposedly transmitted through closer contact like kissing but nothing is 100% sure. Please be careful.
