Pregnancy has been documented from exposure on any day of a woman's cycle, including during menses. That would be rare and more often in women with irregular cycles, but it can happen. There is no absolutely safe zone. Sperm do run out of energy & die in 4-5 days.

The time you describe is not the fertile period so chances of pregnancy are near 0, But your reasoning for is not necessarily correct. Sperm survival in the uterus is extermely variable
