I am 6 months pp and am still experiencing brown stringy mucus/discharge when going to the toilet&wiping, can be a lot sometimes. i am also having sudden sharp pains in my lower abdomen sometimes, i am on contraception again so i dont bleed. help?

Brownish vaginal discharge is usually old blood and debris being shed by the uterus. I'm quite sure this is a benign situation in your case and that your gynecologist is best able to explain this to you.
