I am on my 3 injection of a year long treatment of depot lupron for endometriosis. and it is not working the way it usually does. i have no relief compared to the relief i feel normally.. is there a possible explanation for this?

While "depot lupron" is used to eliminate or abbreviate ovulation, depending on the strength and duration of treatment, it may not suppress stimulation by your pituitary of some estrogen from your ovaries, allowing for activation of endometriosis in implants in the abdomen or colon. Ask your physician about low dose oral bcp's which suppress ovarian function, and may be better alternative.
