Docs are used to discussing topics you may consider embarrassing so being frank is the best policy. Simply stating you are not interested in BC is also the best policy. Docs deal with a variety of people from a variety of cultures and viewpoints. Most have thick skins. If your doc makes you uncomfortable you may want to make a change.
