HIV transmission: http://www.avert.org/hiv-transmission-prevention/how-you-get-hiv?gclid=CK6P5szPq9ICFVY7gQodxYsGFw https://www.cdc.gov/hiv/basics/transmission.html HIV is only one of the STDs. A condom may not protect against HPV, Herpes, LGV, syphilis, pubic lice etc. It would be prudent to see your doctor for an evaluation.

A condom isn't always %100 effective. Any bruises or cuts on body parts that come in contact with a HIV positive person who also has the same, can lead to a transmission. Wait until at least 3-4 weeks. You can also test positive after 3 months. Any sex is risky, even if you practice safe sex, know your partner.
