Ive felt constipated for over a year/when i go i feel like theres more. im able to go to the bathroom/ have decent bowel movements, but could i have some type of blockage that needs treatment, and is there poop from a year ago in me?

No to the year old poop idea. The colon is just a storage tube where the first in first out rule applies. Failing to go often enough or diets that slow transition (breads/bananas/rice/etc.) can enlarge the colon and lead to old stool lumps in some, but this is rare. Teaching yourself to empty more often, adding fiber or agents like MiraLAX can decrease colon size & improve emptying over time.

Agree with Dr. Ferguson.You may take a fiber laxative like Metamucil and drink enough water daily so that your urine is colorless. For the long term you may try to increase your intake of fiber foods. Consult this site for fiber foods.
