A member asked:

How often should a woman do a palvic exam from the age of 55(every 5 years) to prevent vaginal cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pelvic examination used to be recommended once yearly in the past. But it best if you find a Gynecologist or a Family physician and see him/her once annually who can do a general physical examination and periodically do a pelvic examination when indicated.
