The hormones in ipill, (emergency contraceptive) alter the usual hormonal balance of a lady and can alter the rhythm of a period. As long as you took the pill within 72 hours of sex, you are likely to be protected from pregnancy. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time.
