Is it normal for my vaginal opening to be lumpy and to be able to see little lumps in the vagina it's always felt like this?

Vaginal lumps or sores sometimes happen for no reason & resolve spontaneously. However, some may be caused by skin disorders or they may be symptoms of a sexually transmitted infection or other illness. Cysts, vulvovaginitis & infected lesions are among possible causes. I therefore suggest you get an exam from a gynecologist as soon as possible to be properly diagnosed & treated. I wish you well!
