If you substitute the issue of solo sex for partner sex, the answer is clear. It is natural so don't worry about it. It tends to peak in the teen years & fade as people develop other outlets for sexual expression. If the time required takes you away from other productive activities it is becoming a burden to you and moderation would be advised.

Agree with Dr. Ferguson. Masturbation is harmless. Do not feel guilty about doing it. Have a healthy diet, exercise 30 minutes/day, drink plenty of water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. For nutrition: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/. Get HPV and Covid vaccines. Wish you good health!

It is good that you realize that it might be an excess. There is no number which is considered healthy. Too much of a good thing is not necessarily a good thing. Find other outlets too. Sports, reading, writing, friends are some outlets for your energy.
