My child swallows about 10 inches of dental floss.. i checked his poop this morning and i didnt see the floss ... should i take him to the ed?

NO. If this passed into his stomach it will travel out the other end in 2-4 days, The chances if it doing anything bad are close to zero. It is less worrisome than the rocks/bugs/and other strange things they ingest. The sense of taste is one way they program their brain on what is good or bad to put in their mouth. Closer monitoring might help but you can't stop them all the time.
