Your next menses may not occur until up to 6 weeks post abortion medical procedure. Yes, there may still be a positive pregnancy test from residual hCG hormones still present. Have you been cleared for sexual activity by the Abortion MD/clinic? if not please do so first and use contraception when you do re-engage intercourse to avoid a "oops" pregnancy.
