Probably no risk: Anyone with HSV is immune to a new infection with the same virus type. Someone with HSV1, anywhere on the body, cannot catch it again. (Same for HSV2.) If your partner definitely has HSV1, either oral or genital, you need take no precautions in sex with him. You couldn't infect him with your HSV1 even if you tried. Wishing you rewarding sexa nd romance!
