I have been using abreva. i have gotten cold sores before. i was just curious if i were to give my boyfriend oral, would he get genital herpes?

Possibly: If you are shedding virus at the time, I would expect it to transfer easily. Using a condom might provide a level of protection, but even then it might pass.
