Is it a problem if i vomit 3 hours after taking birth control ?

Maybe/not: The BC pill material is absorbed through your upper intestine. If your stomach emptied the pill material before you vomited this would mean it move on & you would be fine. Stomach emptying time is 2-4 hrs based on the contents/other factors. If you were nauseated when you took the pill, stomach emptying might be delayed & the material not absorbed.

NO: Pills kept down 15 minutes after taking them are considered fully dosed. You reported keeping it down plenty long for the dose to work.
