Unlikely, but...: Anything's possible, but that would be a long way to swim for the little guys. One would also need a lot of vaginal moisture all the way to the sperm so that the sperm wouldn't have to attempt swimming across any dryish spots. In general, sperm near the vagina just doesn't cut it. Near is not close enough. That being said, life can be full of surprises.
