UTI symptoms: Symptoms can be a clue, but that's all. If urination is painful, urgent, and frequent -- with xmall urine amounts -- a UTI is likely. But even with these typical symptoms, the only way to know is to get professional care and diagnostic testing. At your age (19), STDs are the most common conditions that cause simlar symptoms. It would be really dumb to not get professional evaluation.
