Masturbation: In general masturbation is not harmful to the body position with her prone standing sitting on the side does not have any different effects as far as I’m aware of in the medical literature. Some people masturbate an excess amount on a daily basis this can interfere with functioning in jobs in relationships. Recommendation moderation in all things

Prone masturbation: Frequent male prone masturbation places significant pressure on penis & nerves at its base & may cause numbing to arousal / pleasure. Seek help for delayed orgasms, erectile dysfunction or inability to achieve orgasm in other ways. It may lead to back pain in males & females. The most obvious: The most obvious way to relieve sexual desire besides masturbation, is to have sex with a willing partner. Sometimes sexual desire can become compulsive though, relating more to obsessive anxiety than to genuine sexual desire. If you're wondering about your own situation, consulting with your family physician or a psychiatrist may help.
