Maybe and yes: This is called artificial insemenation. If you have a condition of subfertility then it can help increase your chances of conception. But if you have normal cycles and are ovulating, then it can only help if you have a cervical mucous factor which is preventing pregnancy. Your gyn should be able to help figure this out for you.
