I think i got a cut through finger nails inside the vagina of my girlfriend while foreplay during sex , its been few days still she feels pain in lower abdomen and maybe similar to cramps, the cut is almost a finger inside?

Mucosal tears : It is possible that sharp nails have caused mucosal tears in Vagina. Keeping the area clean with lukewarm water and applying glycerine or vitamin E oil may help in healing. Abstinence for 5-7 days will decrease chances of reinjury and infection. Any other sign or symptoms should be reported to your ob/gyn promptly. Tetanus toxoid if not current.
