Always best to check: If there is any concern/possibility for pregnancy (e.g. having intercourse without protection and while not on the pill) it is always safest to take a pregnancy test, keeping in mind that pregnancy test can take up 8 days or more to become positive from the time of conception. If there is unusual discharge or pain with urination, an STD test may also be in order.
