Confusing post: You state you are on a contraceptive but trying for a baby. This makes no sense. To get pregnant you must not be on any form of contraception. The cited average wait for a desired pregnancy (off contraception) is 6 mo with a range of weeks to a year.After a year a fertility evaluation of both parents is considered worthwhile.
