Doctor can examine: A normal penis without Peyronie disease can be mildly curved when erect. Peyronie disease is due to a thickened, firm area (caused by scarring after some inflammation or injury) in the compartment where blood flows in to pressurize the penis into an erection. We stretch muscles, which includes their tendons, to stay flexible. We do not stretch penises. One's primary care doctor can examine it.
