A member asked:

How long is the hospital saty following removing a testicle from cancer and what happens after the op?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Short stay: You'll probably stay at least overnight. The testis goes to the pathologist for a careful examination to determine what kind(s) of cancer are present and how far it's gotten within the specimen. It gets kept for a month and is then incinerated -- trust me, you don't want it back. Best wishes.
