Symptoms can occur from infectious viruses or bacteria, inflammatory bowel, Giardia infections, celiac disease, etc... Lactose intolerance, or eating excess fruits or sugarfree sweeteners like maltitol, can cause gas and nonbloody diarrhea. A primary care doctor, or a gastroenterologist, can evaluate.
