Bacterial vaginosis: Persistent or recurrent bacterial vaginosis is a common and difficult problem. Some possible solutions: If sexually active, have no sex or plan on 100% condom use for several weeks. Make sure no foreign bodies involved, like a forgotten tampon in the vagina. Get checked for other STDs, especially gonorrhea, chlamydia and trichomonas. Find a gyn who specializes in infectious diseases. Good luck!
