Post pill Amenorrhea: When the period does not re-start spontaneously post long term pill use then see a GYN MD who can "jump start" the period if not pregnant. If your periods were sporadic before the pill use 5 years ago and the MD put you on the pill to "regulate your cycle" please convey that to the GYN MD at that visit as the pill use itself may not be the problem
