A member asked:

Are women with pcos expected to take bcps straight until menopause or whenever they want children, and how will it be managed after menopause?

No single answer: Pill use for PCOS patients makes your life/cycles more predictable. A side effect is BC, so you come off for childbearing efforts. Once your cycles could stop with age, you may or may not want to continue hormones that would prolong the process. Each case would be individualized to the persons own needs as reviewed by your doc at the time.
