No: does not sound like herpes. probably just cysts see your dr

No: Herpes doesn't present that way or wait 3+ years to show up. Other STD's would not wait that long to show up & present that way either. Cysts on your butt cheeks could be simple abscesses or related to your anus. An office exam can help sort this out.
