A member asked:

How common is it to have irregular periods after getting off bc pills ( used bc for 2 yrs).now periods are delayed .10 days delay on last two periods

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not common: Most women will have regular periods even after stopping their pills. If you periods continue to be irregular over the next few months, I would see a gynecologist. However, it could also be just that your cycle off of pills is longer than your cycle on the pills (ie, maybe your cycle lasts ~35 days instead of 28).
