Why would stool gets trapped in anal canal after defecation and keeps leaking afterwards for hours that i have to wipe inside my anus to stop the leak. i went to 2 proctologist both say i have mild weakness in muscles but shouldn't affect continence?

Leakage: One possible explanation is that liquid fecal material can leak out around impacted hard stool. Perhaps you should try a course of stool softeners like colace on a daily basis to prevent hard stool buildup in the rectum. Also drink adequate amounts of fluid. Insert glycerin rectal suppositories or dulcolax suppositories as needed to empty rectal stool.
