A member asked:

Birth control pills to delay period?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Period delay: Taking oral contraceptives will not "delay a period" unless one is already taking them regularly, in which case simply do not stop the active pills (do not take the placebos), or, if not taking them regularly, start at the 3rd or 4th day of a "normal period" and just continue with the active pills until the "reason for delay" has passed.
