A member asked:

Would birth control pills delay your period, or is it always regular?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Some formulations do a 'better' job of stopping periods. Any type of ocp can be used to voluntarily do this. If you are wanting to delay your period, you simply skip the 'inactive' pills at the end of the pill pack and begin the next pack when you should have taken the inactive (usu. A different color) pills.
