New bcp's: Most oral bcp's are now "low dose" types, so the week on placebo's is relatively light. The important part to remember is to start the "new" bcp pack at "day five" after your last active pill of the last type of bcp. It is not necessary to take all seven of the placebos, and "day five" will help insure an ovulation will not occur.
