If i have had the depo-provera shot, could i still become pregnant?

Why?: Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) is very very effective at preventing pregnancy. If you are going to be tested b/c of not getting periods, that is also a common side effect of the Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) (it can cause irregular bleeding, but also - often causes menses to stop occurring).
