In general...: One can find other things to do with his time. In a normal person, there is no problem with masturbating. However, if a person feels much guilt about it, the person has a problem with guilt, not with masturbation. There are so many things to do in life to help one's family, community, and the world around us. So, one can either stop the guilt, or replace the masturbation by doing other activities.

Check testosterone : Would recommend also checking testosterone level (early AM) as some of the symptoms described may indicate hypogonadism - decreased libido, ED, weight gain. Depression may also share some of the symptoms discussed such as lack of interest/pleasure, difficulty concentrating as well as decreased libido and secondarily ED. Checking thyroid function studies should also be considered.
