A member asked:

I was on birth control and it made me throw up every month so i got an iud. i keep getting painful cysts from the iud. should i switch back to pills?

LARCs are best: Long-acting-reversible contraceptives (or LARCs) are the most effective methods to prevent pregnancies and may be your best choice. Consult a caring and knowledgeable Gyn about a subdermal implant or a copper IUD (not a hormonal IUD). Either one may be your best option...so try either one; this would be much better than "switching back to oral contraceptive pills".
